4 Ways to Wear a Quilted Skirt feat. Aventura Clothing

by Karen Ung
The winter skirt is an elusive creature that can be coaxed out of hibernation with the right accessories. Whether wool, quilted, or insulated, a winter skirt will keep you warm without bulk (similar to a vest – but for your lower body) when snowpants are out of the question. Here are four ways to wear a quilted skirt. Featured here is the Trista Skirt from Aventura Clothing.

The Aventura Trista Skirt: 4 Ways to Wear It
  1. Après Ski: Pull a quilted skirt over base layers and you’re good to go. Don’t forget a cute beanie to cover windswept hair. I love this look for ice skating too!

Pair with base layers or Aventura Bienne Leggings
  2. Black and Block: Black and blocks of your favorite jewel tone brighten up the darkest day. The striped Midori scarf and boots pull this casual look together.

  3. Winter Walk: A quilted skirt with a sweater/poncho, patterned leggings, and ankle boots will keep you toasty all the way to your favorite coffee shop. The wool-blend Chantel poncho is surprisingly warm for its weight!

  4. Matchy-matchy: Pair the skirt with its matching jacket and wrap a bold scarf around your neck for accent.
