The Kraays have been running the farm, “essentially a seasonal country fair,” for 18 years. “We constantly re-invest,” Rachel Kraay tells me, “so there’s always something new.” It’s easy to see why families are excited to return year after year, and we know we will definitely be back!

Things to Do
Lacombe Corn Maze
Named the largest corn maze in the world in 2012 (Guinness Book of World Records), the 15-acre Lacombe Corn Maze is a must-see at Kraay Family Farm. Preschoolers will enjoy the Fairy Tale Trail (follow the numbered signs to read the stories and find your way out), while bigger kids and adults can do the big maze for a 1.5-2 hour challenge.
The big maze – which sports a Canada 150 theme this year – has 3 phases that take 20 minutes to an hour each (phase 2 is the trickiest) to complete. Grab a Passport before you begin, then look for the posts inside the maze. At each numbered post, answer the corresponding question and go right or left based on your answer. There are viewing platforms within the maze too, so you can get your bearings – and enjoy the view!
We loved the maze and want to come back in the fall to try it after dark!
Attractions
Everything was fun, but we especially enjoyed racing through the Timberline Adventure Course (with small zipline!), bouncing on the Jumping Pillows, watching the Pig Races, and feeding the farm animals (feed available for 25 cents). We hope to play mini golf next time!

Attractions Requiring Tokens (or Adventure Day Pass)
The Pumpkin Blasters (hit targets on a bus with a pumpkin cannon), Grain Train, Post Pounder, and OK Corral require tokens or an Adventure Day Pass. The Grain Train is fun for all ages, but the Pumpkin Blaster, Post Pounder and OK Corral (air guns with soft balls) are best suited to school age kids. My kids liked the Shootout at the OK Corral so much, we played twice!
