The Hangar Flight Museum, formerly known as the Aero Space Museum, has a collection of 27 rare military and civilian aircraft sure to please aviation lovers of all ages. From a replica of the 1908 AEA Silver Dart to fighter jets, you can observe how aviation has evolved and learn about the people who flew these machines.
Exhibits
Since most of the planes are quite old and have been lovingly reconstructed over several years, most are available for viewing only. However, on special days, a plane is opened up to the public. Check the Hangar’s Facebook page for your chance to sit in one of the museum’s planes!
In addition to the exhibits, there’s a coloring station and scavenger hunt sheets for the kids.
These are just some of the planes you can see at The Hangar!
